PRICE REDUCTION - Like a time capsule from 1964 comes this NRA M-1 Carbine manufactured by Underwood in December of 1943. Carbine is unfired since received by the DCM NRA purchaser in 1964 and in the original wrapping and in the original box that was shipped from Letterkenny Army Depot in Chambersburg Pa to the DCM purchaser via railway express. Label shows the purchaser's name and address in New Jersey and also is marked with the serial number (serial range 258828x). And, as we know the US government sent out nice M-1 Carbines, as this one certainly is, to NRA members who qualified for the purchase. Photos show condition - carbine is as received and hasn't even been cleaned since receipt in 1964. We purchased the carbine from the brother of the original purchaser (who is 92) and he inherited it some years ago from his deceased brother. Just how many DCM carbines do we get to see these days that are as received in the original box with original packing? Legitimate offers will be considered.
