Winchester Model 70 bolt-action rifle in .30 Gov't '06 (.30-06 Springfield). 24" barrel with original front sight (missing hood) and blank in the rear dovetail. Redfield 2-7X scope mounted in Kesselring mounts. Cloverleaf tang and wing-safety. 14" LOP to a White Line pad. DOM 1941
This beautiful 70 is in very good overall condition and will make a great hunter or shooter. The wood is in very good condition considering its age with only a few light marks to the wood and no cracks. Bluing is in good shape with only light scratches and a few small scattered pits. Receiver is strong and smooth with a little light pitting or flaking on the left hand side. Bore is excellent, shiny with strong lands and grooves. This is a great example of the greatest American bolt rifle in the greatest caliber!
