20th Century Self-Defense Revolver
Here we present a Spanish Copy of a Smith & Wesson .38 Single Action Revolver, made circa 1900. It chambers 5 shots of .38 S&W, a very popular cartridge for pocket revolvers at the time. Spanish clones of many popular firearms were common in the late 19th and early 20th Century due to that country’s patent laws. This one is even marked “SMITH & WESSON” on the barrel. The grips are monogramed “GLC” rather than S&W.
The overall condition is good. The nickel finish is 70% intact. The hard rubber grips are in good shape, there is a small chip out of the right grip. The bore is in decent shape. The action on this revolver is functional but a bit rough.
