Winchester Model 70 Featherweight in 308 Win, Made in 1952 (Pre-64, duh!)
This Winchester 70 was made in 1952. SN 232916
It is a featherweight, first introduced in 1952.
It is in 308 Win, also first introduced in 1952.
22 inch barrel. Drilled an tapped for mount.
I purchased this gun for my 'Made in 1952' collection.
It came with a non-original stock.
I searched and found a period correct stock for it.
The stock is 'rough', including a saw mark in the butt. But, I think it will cleanup well.
The barrel is in good condition. The receiver has wear, but not through the bluing. The magazine floor plate is 80% bare.
I will include the non-original stock for an extra $35.
