Description:
Serial #9799, .30 RF, 3" barrel with a fair bore that has dark freckling within the grooves. This revolver has matching numbers on the frame, cylinder, and barrel with about 30-40% of the bright original blue on the barrel and traces remaining on the cylinder. The balance of the metal has turned to a mild plum-brown patina and there is some gray fading along the exposed edges and projections. The frame retains about 90% of the original silver plate that was cleaned at some point but is starting to reacquire a mellow blue-black patina. The rosewood grips are numbered to the gun on the interior and are in fine shape with only some minor handling marks and small blemishes on either side. The lock-up is tight, there is no lateral play in the barrel, and the mechanism is fully functional. Antique
