Description:
This is a spectacular "Ultimate Combat Package" Glock Model 21 from the Aro-Tek firm in Olympia, Washington who built these guns back in the 1990's. Featured in American Rifleman and several other publications, this $1700.00 dollar gun was considered the ultimate custom combat modified Glock that a person could get. Range tested by a number of gun writers, these Aro-Tek Glocks were excellent performers. The Ultimate Combat Package guns were just as reliable as a factory Glock but much more comfortable to shoot and operate, with the porting eliminating almost all of the normal muzzle rise and allowing for much faster and accurate rapid fire. Starting with a new base model Gen. 2 Glock 21, the "Ultimate Combat Package" from Aro-Tek added a custom five-ported barrel and slide (factory serial numbered to the gun), custom adjustable Tritium night sights, a titanium guide rod, an extended slide stop, an extended magazine release, and a LAW 2000 MkII integral laser sight. All of these parts were hand-fit and custom tuned by the expert gunsmiths at Aro-Tek, creating a highly modified Glock that is put together so cleanly and perfectly that it looks like a factory model. The LAW 2000 laser sight is particularly cool, it consists of the battery pack, a pressure switch, and the laser module. These three parts are integrated into the pistol seamlessly, with all of the wiring completely internal and hidden in the gun's frame. The battery compartment is accessed behind the magazine with a screw-in cap, it runs on 4 "A76" watch batteries. This particular gun is minty looking and pristine, possibly unfired since leaving the Glock factory and Aro-Tek. The original black Tenifer finish rates 99%, with the only deduction coming from a tiny spot on the right side of the slide at the front corner. There is a close-up picture of this spot, and as you can see, it does not detract any appreciable amount from the beautiful overall look of the gun. Both in the interior and exterior of the barrel is also near mint. The bore is mirror-bright and looks brand new. The rifling still has sharp lands and grooves and there are zero visible imperfections. The finish on the exterior of the barrel still looks like-new. There is none of the typical finish wear that you see when a gun has been fired on the exterior of the chamber, and there is just a tiny touch of wear at the muzzle end, likely from working the slide by hand. The polymer frame is in excellent condition. There are no handling marks, scratches, gouges, or signs of wear. It easily rates 100%. We took this gun apart to examine the interior and it is just as clean as the exterior. There is no visible mechanical wear on any of the moving and non-moving parts. Everything on this Aro-Tek custom Glock M21 is in perfect working order except for the Tritium inserts in the night sights, which have gone dim over the last 20 plus years. The LAW integral laser is bright and strong with a perfectly placed pressure switch at the rear of the grip. As mentioned earlier, this custom Aro-Tek Glock 21 comes with the original Glock factory box with an intact end-label serial numbered to the gun, the Glock owner's manual and paperwork, the Aro-Tek laser adjustment tool, the factory mag loader, and an extra 13-round factory magazine with a plus-1 extension.
