We are offering an Ithaca 4E in 28 gauge, one of many pieces we’re offering from the private collection of firearms and outdoors retailer/distributor Lew Horton.
It has dual white beads, good case coloring, a single trigger, and is in overall very good condition.
It has the following attributes:
- 26-3/16 Krupp barrels
- 3” Chamber
- Choked: Cyl (.425) / Lt Skeet (.449)
- Ejectors
- Overall weight: 5lb 8oz
- LOP: 14”
- DAC: 1-1/2”
- DAH: 2”
Included is the pictured mutton case. The top’s strap is broken and there are stains and scratches in several places overall otherwise fair condition.
9.17 Update: We've received word back from the Cody Museum that this is one of a block 10 guns for which no records are available. They mentioed that serial numbers before and after this date to November 21, 1914.
