Retirement sale: I purchased this Spencer Rifle many years ago through Dave Taylor’s civil war antiques. My ancestor was in the Indiana 17th mounted infantry (wilders Brigade) the first three years of the civil war.
Serial # 6184. Which falls in the range of Spencer’s assigned to Wilders Brigade.
