This is one cool little .22 caliber semi-auto survival rifle! This is a pre-ban vintage Feather Industries Model AT-22 Survival rifle in .22 Long Rifle. This little lightweight gun features a take-down design with a removeable 17" inch shrouded barrel and a collapsable wire stock. This particular AT-22 is loaded out with all the added-cost extras that were offered by Feather Industries. It has the ventilated heat shield barrel shroud, the vertical fore grip, and factory sling and mounts. The only option not on it is the optics base (factory drilled and tapped holes are present if new owner wants to add it). These AT-22's while simple in design, are accurate, reliable, and a lot of fun to shoot! The blow-back design is easy to field strip and clean, and it has earned the reputation of a very low maintanance weapon. These pre-ban manufacture guns are sought after by collectors and shooters alike, as they are generally considered better quality than the post ban production guns, and the collapsable stock design is better than the newer guns which require you to flip the wire stock around to the muzzle end. The finish on this gun is in excellent condition overall, with only some minor handling marks and scratches that do not hurt the clean overall look of this AT-22. The bore is in excellent condition, there is no pitting or visible imperfections and the rifling is still strong. The factory black plastic stock set and wire stock are in great shape as well, with the plastic free from any cracks, repairs, or damage outside of a few tiny handling marks. The wire stock is straight and in excellent working condition. All of the controls/functions on this AT-22 are in perfect working order and the blow-back action works nice and smooth, going into battery perfectly. This AT-22 comes with one factory 20-round detachable magazine but others are available at additional cost. If you have been looking for one of these cool little survival guns here is your chance to get a pre-ban model in excellent condition overall that has obviously lived an easy life!
