The J.C. Higgins Model 50 was manufactured for Sears and market under the J.C. Higgins brand. The Model 50 has an FN commercial 98 Mauser control round feed action, large claw extractor and a chrome lined High Standard barrel. This is a lot of rifle for the price asked.
