Description:
WW2 Vintage Winchester M1 Garand manufactured in 1943. This Winchester M1 Garand is a Service Grade CMP rifle and includes a certificate of authenticity. The rifle is in excellent mechanical condition, and all functions work as they should. The rifle has been arsenal re-worked but retains mostly war time Winchester parts. The bolt, gas cylinder and op rod are Winchester. The stock is a WW2 Winchester with a clear G.H.D. inspection cartouche. The trigger bow and housing are Winchester, but the internals are a mix of of other manufacturers. The rear sight assembly also has some winchester parts mixed with Springfield Armory. The barrel is a Springfield Armory dated February of 1952. The muzzle erosion measures a 1 and the throat erosion measures a 3 per the CMP paper work and should make for an excellent shooter. Includes a GIsling. We seldom see WW2 Winchester manufactured M1 Garands, much less with this many correct parts. This would make a nice addition to a WW2 and/or M1 Garand collection.
