Description:
This is a very cool little pocket pistol made sometime during the late 1920's or early 1930's. From what little information we can find, it is a Spanish-made pocket pistol called the Liberty Model 1924 in .25 ACP caliber. It appears to be very well-made and finished, and unique in that it has an extra long grip for such a small pistol. Typical pocket pistols in this caliber have a magazine capacity of 5 rounds, this Liberty has a magazine capacity of 10! This pistol appears to be all-original and functional except for a missing pin that has been replaced with two slotted screws. This can be seen in the pictures provided just above the trigger on either side. This blow-back operated pistol is built just like a Colt Junior and comes apart the same way. This little pistol has a great look to it, with a nice gloss blue finish and checkered hard rubber grips that have both the name "Liberty" on them and a really cool roaring lions head on each side. The blue finish still looks good overall, showing some wear and patina but no bad spots or damage. The grips are in great shape, free from any cracks, repairs, or major damage/wear. The bore is excellent in this little .25 ACP pocket pistol, it wouldnt surprise us if it has only been fired a few times in the last 80 years. The bore is bright and clean, with nice well-defined rifling still visible. If you have been looking for a unique and different little pocket pistol for your collection here is your chance. We have not seen another example like this one in at least 25 to 30 years.
