PRE-WAR FRENCH CHARLIN AUTOMATIQUE 12 GAUGE EJECTOR SLIDING BREECH DOUBLE SHOTGUN. 27 ½” barrels with 2 ¾” chambers with St. Etienne proofs on the underside. Choked Full & Full. Double triggers, automatic ejectors, non-automatic safety and sling swivels. Mid-grade floral engraving with cocking lever having the maker’s intaglio cartouche between the ears. Walnut checkered stock with horn butt plate. 14 ¼” pull, 1 ½”, 2 ½” drop. Checkered forend. All matching and original. Fine overall with 95% blue. Frame and lever with original patinated coin finish and crisp engraving. Stock and forend with the original lightly worn finish. Very tight and in perfect working order. Excellent bores.
