Description:
Presented for sale, you will find a Parker Brothers G Grade 12 Gauge sleeved for 20-gauge ammunition. Mr. Larry DelGreco Sr. did the work and apparently refinished the wood. The wool looks great. The metal has a lot of wear but is still in pretty good shape. This is a Damascus Barrel Gun. The sleeves are permanent and it is safe to shoot modern 20 gage ammunition.
This old American Classic is an interesting shotgun to say the least. The action is tight and the triggers are very good. The bore is as it was when Larry sleeved it. The postmarks on the box indicate it was sent to DelGreco in 1968. For Y’all young folks, Larry DelGreco was a famous American gunsmith that was the go-to guy for Parkers.
Coming from an old competitive shotgunner, I like this shotgun. It feels great and I might just have to take it to the gun club and “Test Fire” it.
