Your looking at a custom beaded, Brain Tanned Elk Skin rifle case. It was made for a Winchester 73. Although a 92 or 94 would fit. The case is 50 inches overall. I had this case made about 20 years ago and never used it. I sold the rifle before the case was complete. The beading was done by an Ojibwe Grrandma, in northern Minnesota, done the Indian way. There are several thousand beads in the piece. They were sewen half-way thru the leather so there are no threads on the inside so as not to catch the rifle. The beading is a Blackfoot pattern. The Elk skin is thicker than deer but still very supple. It's a beautiful Piece.
