*** SOLD *** SOLD *** Beautiful example of a limited run "collector grade" Savage 99CE Centennial Edition Model 99 300 Savage (serial #AS0049) was limited to 1,000 rifles mfg 1996-97 and considered by many as the most attractive production gun of all the 99s with the desireable "under 100" serial number and it's Centennial brochure and owner's manual, remaining new and unfired. The left side of the barrel is marked " SAVAGE 99 CE CENTENNIAL EDITION CAL. 300 SAV." over the one line address. The trigger and safety are 24K gold washed. The barrel is blue while the remainder of the rifle is coin finish with a jeweled bolt and outstanding scroll engraved receiver with a gold inlayed mountain lion in a wooded scene on the right side and a gold inlayed elk in a wooded scene on the left side. Select American walnut checkered forearm and pistol grip stock with highly figured grain, Monte Carlo comb, black grip cap with the Savage logo, recoil pad and sling swivel studs.
