Also a Kopec letter that opines that although no records exist to determine where this revolver may have served during the Indian Wars, other close serial numbers are tied to the 1st Reg’t, First Cavalry that engaged in action with the Apaches at Cedar Springs, A.T. and at South Pass of the Dragoon Mts., A.T.; Kopec also indicates the possibility exists that the subject revolver may have escaped the Ordnance Department’s recall of 1893 and had remained in its all-matching Cavalry configuration because it had been issued to one of the state Militia units. He also states that the revolver is is 100% authentic and original in every respect. A very nice Indian Wars era Cavalry Model Colt! Buyer Pays $20.00 shipping to the lower 48 states.
