Description:
PENDING SALE-This is a new-old stock rifle that I rescued from a small town dealer's inventory. The L691 replaced the AV series, and was made from 1992 to 1996. This is the last of the "old school", high-quality Sako rifles. After this, they introduced the Model 75, then 85, and now several even cheaper versions.
The Deluxe rifles from Sako featured upgraded wood, Rosewood forend tip, skip-line checkering, bluing that looks like black glass, the Sako Bear on the Rosewood gripcap, and a gold Antelope on the magazine plate.
This rifle would make a good addition to a Sako collection, or scope it up as a very distinguished-looking Elk rifle. They don't make Sakos like this anymore.
