Description:
This is a custom Winchester Model 70 rifle in .338 Remington Ultra Mag. It is based on one of the modern Model 70 controlled feed actions. It is a Classic SM model that has been rechambered to .338 RUM. Metal has a satin finish. There is a ramped blade front sight but no rear sight. Warne style 2 piece bases are installed. All metal is in Excellent condition. the 26 inch barrel has a shiny bore with plenty of rifling. The laminate stock has been expertly shaped and bedded to the action and has a steel pistol grip cap. There is a barrel band front sling swivel base and a rear swivel base on the buttstock. All work on this beautiful rifle has been done by professional gunsmiths and stock makers.
