Smith and wesson 38/44 outdoorsman 38special, 6.5" barrel, pre-war, 5 screw, excellant overall condition, minor finish wear at the muzzel. The bore is perfect , lockup is tight, no end shake. A small hole has been drilled in the front strap of the frame for a grip adapter, serial #48898, 1937. Price $1500 and $25 shipping and handling.
