Description:
This is a nice used Colt "Bisley" Model single action, .41 caliber revolver. It has a 4 3/4" barrel. Has a very good bore. All numbers match. One grip panel is marked "2862" on the back side. Hard rubber logo grip panels are very good condition with some light smoothing and a couple small edge nicks on the butt end. Serial Number is #282043, manf in 1907. There were only 3,259 in this caliber produced by Colt. The metal finish is all dull Blue to grey patina. Left side of barrel is marked, "(BISLEY MODEL) 41 COLT". Top of barrel markings, "COLT'S PT.FA.MFG. Co/ HARTFORD, CT.U.S.A.". two line frame markings, "PAT SEPT.19,1871./JULY 2.72 JAN19,75". and the Rampant Colt Logo. Action is strong and it locks up toght. Screw heads are nice . This revolver comes with a Colt Archive Letter that confirms it's present configuration!
