I assume this is a Remington Rolling block. There are no mfg markings on the rifle anywhere. The action function & fires. The bore is terrible. Bore mics approx .46" so I am guessing it is 45-70 but cannot guarantee it. I removed a tack(and put it back) to take a picture. Many of the tacks are corroded. They are square shank. I am not sure of the designs other than the one side appears to be a snake. The reason this is being sold "as is" is it is part of an estate settlement & needs to be final.
