This Springfield Armory Model U.S. Rifle M1 Garand is a right hand semi-auto rifle in .30-06 Cal. It has a 24 inch Military finish barrel with a front blade sight and adjustable rear sight. The stock is a smooth grip hardwood military style. This popular and highly collectable rifle was issued and used during WW II, Korean War and limited Viet Nam Conflict. It is still used by Drill Teams and Military Honor Guards as well as civilians. General George S. Patton called it the "greatest battle implement ever devised." Manufactured 11-40.
