Description:
This Winchester Model 1873 is a right hand lever action repeating rifle in .44-40 W.C.F. Cal. It has a 24 inch octagon barrel with a full barrel length tube magazine. The stock is a smooth walnut straight grip with a storage trap door compartment in the steel crescent butt. It has an iron frame with sideplates and sliding dustcover. This rifle was originally marketed as "The Gun that Won the West." Manufactured between 1873 - 1923 this rifle was made in 1880.
