Description:
Purdey 16 Gauge round body game gun. 2-1/2 chambers. 28" chopper lump barrels with narrow concave game rib. Case hardened round body action has bush strikers, automatic safety, articulated front trigger, raised rib tumbler end cocking indicators, and old style ejectors. The action is engraved with Purdey house rose and scroll with "J. Purdey & Sons" on both side plates and on bottom of the action. Gold inlaid "Safe" on top tang. European walnut straight stock measuring 14-3/16 over leather butt pad.
