Description:
Parker CHE 28 gauge serial number 194219 was completed June 9, 1921 according to the Parker papers. It has 26 inch barrels with a single brass bead sight on a raised rib that has a doll's head extension. 2-1/2 chambered, double trigger, with strong ejectors. The beaver tail forend and capped semi-pistol grip stock are made of a brilliant piece of walnut. The forend has wonderful checkering and finely engraved accent metals. The stock shares the fine checkering and forms a tear drop shape behind either side of the receiver. The side plates are engraved with the "Parker Bros" name and ovals that contain a hound. The bottom plate is engraved with a pheasant, walking on a log in a field, with mountains in the background. The stock butt has an engraved skeleton plate over checkering.
