Description:
(SOLD) This is a Isaac Hollis & Sons rook rifle in .380 Rook chambering. Octagon barrel is 26" long and in good condition. Rear sight has 1 fixed leaf and 2 folding leaves. Top of barrel has an attractive stippling feature with wavy lines along the full length of the barrel flat. Top of barrel has 2 phrases engraved..."The Rapid"...and "made expressly for F. Lasseter and Co., Sydney". Grip cap looks to be carved horn in a pleasing radial pattern as shown in photos. Condition looks to be original with honest wear but no abuse. There is a small corner of wood missing near the action on the right side as shown in photos. Overall, the gun is very pleasing to the hand with a lot of classic English style. Brass and cast heeled bullets are included as shown in photos. $30 shipping.
