Description:
This amazing 1850 peace flask is dated on the top with the Batty name.The double embossed flask has a great patina, with all part working smoothly, thespring works smoothly as does the adjustable load amount. This model was carried in the Mexican and Civil War extensively. The patina is a beautiful nutty brown yellow, both carry rings are strong and attached well. The embossing is one of the most attactive produced, this was kept minty. The AMERICAN EAGLE perches on arrows and an olive branch above an oval of starsthat surround a pair of clapsing hands with a sun burst. Below is a US on a sheild which overlays a trophy of arms, insturments ,helmet, and banner. Purchased in the 1960' and has remained in my collection. Dan 859-533-5445 SHIPPING PAYED BY BUYER!
