Description:
This is a very nice example of BH graded Parker Brothers Shotgun. The stock has freshened checkering and could also be a very old refinish. On the butt of the stock is a Pachmeyer pad. Parker Bros inlaid in gold of the side and the serial number is also inlaid in gold on the tang. This shotgun does also have Acme steel barrels on #2 frame. The Grade 5 (BH) was introduced around 1875. The stock is made of the finest Circassian walnut and adorned with fine checkering, a checkered side panels with carved fleur-de-lis. The Grade 5 shotgun is strictly a custom ordered gun. Just over 1,000 hammerless BH Grade shotguns were produced.
