Description:
This is a Savage Model 24 (no dash) that was made back in 1955. It is .22 LR over .410 Ga. (choked Full). The gun is in wonderful high original condtition. It looks to have been once fired and then put up for storage. Some of the storage grease is still in the nooks and crannies. The case colors are are original, vivid and very nice. The blue is original and deep, virtually no wear or usage showing. The walnut stock is solid with no cracks, only a few handling marks and one scratch on the butt stock as shown. The bores are like new. The action is smooth and tight. The recoil plate shows the gun to be very, very little fired if at all. Sights are original. Barrel selector is the most desireable and earliest button on the receiver style. Beautiful Over and under combo gun from the 1950's! Hard to find in this wonderful condtion!
