Description:

Listed for sale is an original US Model 1836 Flintlock Pistol made in 1838 and converted to percussion just prior to the Civil War. It was made by A Waters of Milbury, MS. In very good original condition with no cracks in the wood and the pistol functions as it should. Bore is dirty with some minor pitting. This gun is historically significant as it was the primary issue pistol during the Mexican American War ( 1846-1848). These pistols saw a lot of use during the Civil War. The cartouche is very faint and unreadable.
