Description:
Savage Model 24V chambered in the desirable .222 Remington over 3" 20 Guage combination. This savage appears to be a transitional model between the B-series and the C-Series. It has a B serial number prefix and a C suffix that appears to have been added later in production. The gun displays features of both the B and C series. It remains in outstanding original condition with 98%+ of its original blue finish, and bright case colors on the receiver. All of the mechanics work as they should, and the gun appears to have been fired little if any. The bores of both the rifle and shotgun barrels are in perfect condition. The stock and forearm are also in excellent condtion with no wear and only a few tiny handling marks present. The forearm does show a small hairline crack that appears to have been repaired and can be seen in the last photo. An excellent example of a Savage 24V in one of the most desirable caliber configurations.
