Description:
This is a Winchester 3rd Model 1890 takedown rifle, 24" octagon barrel, chambered in the very desirable .22 Long Rifle. Rifle appears to be in very nice condition. The barrel has a smooth dark patina, shows no rust or pitting and all markings are clearly legible. The bore is clean, with rifling, and looks to be shootable. The stock and forend are excellent, free of any cracks or chips and has a crescent shaped butt plate. This rifle functions well and locks up tight. I am not a dealer and this rifle is one of two Winchester 1890s for sale from my personal collection. Winchester 1890 models of this caliber are hard to find and would make a valuable addition to one's collection. It is priced to sell and very reasonable. Tracking number will be provided when item is shipped.
