Overall condition of this pistol is almost like new in box. The metal has some minor handling marks from the shelf and the barrel has marks from the slide being worked. The largest mark on this is a small area where it looks like the buffing wheel marred the metal at the factory. Bore looks factory new. This pistol is a factory blemish and as such is fully functional and safe; but has cosmetic flaws.Loaded with upgraded features; this pistol truly earns the "Elite" in its name. An attractive two-tone finish of polished stainless sides and matte black top and underside give some flash to the classic 1911 lines. 25 line-per-inch checkering on the front and rear of the grip ensure a solid hold while not being too aggressive to the shooter during a day of practice at the range. An extended beavertail grip safety with a memory bump further enhance comfort during recoil. An extended and ambidextrous safety allows easy manipulation when the moment demands.
