Description:
This Winchester was produced in 1917. The rifle's serial number is 845158. It has the standard 24 inch round barrel. The sights are the standard front sight with a flat top rear sight that is good to be used with tang sights. The lyman tang sight appears to have been installed at the factory. The bore is in minty condition showing no sign of being used. The breech face shows no sign of being fired. The hammer face shows very little wear. The barrel and magazine tube blue would rate a 99% oveall condition. The reciever would rate a 97% overall condition. The reciever has some small age spotting. The lever, trigger and hammer retain 99% of all of the bluing. The stock and forend retain all of the original finish. There are two small pressure dents on the right side of the stock. This rifle shows no sign of being fired at all. This Winchester is in stunning condition! This rifle certainly will fall into the high end collector grade Winchesters! It certainly would be very hard to find a better 1892 in nicer condition especially a standard model with a tang sight! Search for hlvfineguns on google for more details.
