Description:
SIG SAUER TACOPS 10MM PISTOL - has 4 magazines included from Sig Sauer. I have this gun listed as new becuse I just got it a couple of months ago, have put 9 shots through it, the first 5 were for grouping shooting offhand at 6-7 yards and it put 5 bullets in and inch and a half or slightly smaller. I am very impressed with that because I have not shot a 1911 since 2010 and have put about 20 shots through the Ruger Redhawk 45 Colt 4.2 inch that I owned 2015-2018. I'd have to say the Sig Tacops 10mm accuracy is spot on to shoot that well in my inexperienced hands. I'm sure that from a rest it will hold very tight groups at 25yds.  The next 3 shots were to compare the recoil to a new Dan Wesson Bruin longslide 10mm, and because of the rail on the Sig Sauer Tacops, the muzzle flip of the guns is virtually identical with only a very slight edge in favor of the longslide DW Bruin. This was very impressive. Remember the mass of the rail is below center gravity of the barrel and is forward of the trigger guard, so it is weight in the best place possible to mitigate muzzle flip and it works: For that reason alone makes the gun desireable even if you don't mount a laser or light on it. And I say it's impressive because the 1911 I owned back in 2010 was a Sig Sauer XO in 45 ACP and it did not have a rail (although later Sig offered a rail on some of them), and the 230 grain bullet at 825fps had a LOT more muzzle flip than this more powerful 10mm with a rail on it.  This is of major consideration for you. The rail makes a big difference in recoil on a 5 inch gun. The9th shot was just just for fun.  The ammo used was Sellier and Bellot 180 grain flat nose at 1165fps at a moderate 543 ft-lbs of energy. The ONLY reason I am selling this gun is because of magazine incompatilibility when I put the Sig Sauer magazine in the DW Bruin - it does not feed into the DW at about the 3rd - 5th shot. And I tried this with 3 or maybe all 4 Sig magazines and none would feed well in the DW.
Some of the reasons I think the Sig Sauer Tacops 10mm will be a great choice for you is the impeccable accuracy of the gun. Seriously, if it will group 1.3 -1.5 inches at 7 yards  shooting unsupported, standing up offhand, then it MUST be a tack driver from the bench.  The Sig Sauer Tacops has superior ergonomics in every regard. It IS a great pistol. Plus I cleaned with only the very best materials available: Kroil for the barrel and FP10 militec for everything else - this is the factory standard for how DW wants their guns cleaned, so I did this for the Sig as well. Also, if you by this gun from somewhere else, you may be taking a chance on accuracy, however, this one IS accurate, and it will not disappoint you. I'm willing to split the insured shipping with you, to an FFL of your choice.

Some other features of the gun are:  beveled magazine well for easy feeding of magazines, capacity 8+1, picatinny rail with 3 slots (for light, laser, plus the weight of the rail under the barrel minimizes muzzle flip), G10 grips, Novak style tritium night sights, 5 inch factory match grade barrel, ambidextrous safety, factory slotted trigger. Gun is 100% stock, has superior feel and ergonomics. The G10 handles provide excellent grip and feel. Also, both the front and rear straps are checkered for a better grip, very good. There's a fresh coat of oil (FP10 militec, a high grade of oil that won't harm the matt finish) on the gun in the photos.
