HERES A EXCELLENT EXAMPLE OF A GERMAN WW2 NAZI MARKED G 33/40 MOUNTAIN CARBINE. SERIAL NUMBER 9856 B . DOT 42 . SHIPPED IN 1942. THESE CARBINES WHERE DESIGNED AND USED FOR WW2 GERMAN MOUNTAIN TROOPS. THESE CARBINES WHERE USED IN THE MOUNTAINS OF NORTHERN ITALY AND GERMANY DURING WW2 WARFARE. MOST OF THESE GUNS WHERE USED HARD . AND VERY FEW ARE FOUND IN THIS EXCELLENT ORIGINAL CONDITION. THIS WAS A U.S CAPTURED GUN THAT WENT BACK WITH A U.S SOLDIER . STUCK IT IN HIS DUFFLE BAG AND GOT BACK TO THE U.S.A. CARBINE IS 100 % ORIGINAL AS ISSUED. ALL SERIAL THE NUMBERS MATCH . HAS MOST ALL OF ITS ORIGINAL FINISH , JUST SOME HANDLING MARKS AND DINGS. BORE IS MINT . ACTION IS TIGHT AS A DRUM. OVERALL A EXCELLNT ORIGINAL G 33/40 CARBINE. HAS ITS ORIGINAL SLING AS ISSUED.
