Description:
This antique Mexican fighting knife is sleek and deadly.  This is one wicked looking blade with a bone and bull horn handle in very good condition. Overall length 12 inches with a 8 inch blade. The guard is brass. Blade shows no pitting and is very sharp. A fighting knife for sure.  The MEXICO makers mark is on the left side at the hilt. No sheath. In the old days, Mexicans were notoriously deadly knife fighters.  They liked this style of "scorpion tip" blade . It was handy for getting a knife thrust up under the ribs and into the lungs.  Very sturdy and graceful. Knives like this were used during the Mexican Revolution and earlier. Just the thing for your Southwest collection.
