Description:
Brooklyn Arms Co. Slocum Revolver. Serial number #2527, .32 RimFire, 3" Barrel. Blued finish, silver plated brass frame, varnished Rosewood grips. Barrel marked, "B.A. Co PATENT APRIL 14, 1863". Frame engraved with loose foliate scrolls in a New York style with a punch dot shading, with  about half of the barrel engraved. 5-shot, single action revolver with unique sliding chambers to allow loading and unloading was an attempt to circumvent the Rollin White patent. Some 10,000 were produced , 1863-1864. The condition, overall is Very Good. Retains very little  blue with freckeled pewter patina. Frame is about 50% of silver plating remaing.  Some areas of Brass frame can be seen. Markings and engraving is very clear. Mechanically it works very well and has a very good bore. Rosewood grips are very good, solid with some smoothing from wear. Buyer pays $20.00 shipping to lower 48 states. accept USPS Money Orders or Bank Cashier's Check.
