Original Austrian Steyr Zephyr Mannlicher Sniper .22LR made in 1956 which was the 2nd year of production. Comes with original matching box, original matching target, Leupold M8-6x Compact Scope, 5 extra mags which are over $250 value, and assembly/disassembly instructions.
This rifle is a truly rare find in such condition with original box and target. Similar rifle sold on Gunsinternational for $3,695, but it did not have original box and target, no extra mags, nor scope.
Excellent plus/almost mint condition, original finish, all matching, not import marked, no rust or pitting on metal, no cracks on wood, excellent bright bore, functions fine.
According to Steyr, these rifles were produced in Austria from 1955-1971. Also, according to information available on gun forums, only about 3,913 rifles were produced.
