Offered is a 1967 vintage Browning, Safari Grade .222 Remington cal. rifle. A fantastic varminter that will group under .5 inch consistantly. This rifle is one of only 6,000 ever imported into the U.S. in the 1960's. They were imported in 2 calibers, .222 Remington, and .222 Remington Magnum. Action is a Sako Flat latch vintage unit. Wood has nice color and some fiddleback grain. Medium heavy barrel is 24 inches long. (not pencil contour) Overall condition is 99%. Blue is near 100%. Stock only has very few small handling marks, no cracks in the finish. Condition is better in person than in photos. I can send more photos, if desired. The scope rings/bases are vintage Kimber quick detachable. I can include a like new Leupold 6.5X20X40 scope for an additional $750.00.
