Description:
Beretta ASE-90 Sporting O/U shotgun. 29 ½” barrels with: 6 extended/ported Rhino choke tubes (CYL, SKEET, SK2, IC, 2IMOD); a full set of Briley sub-gauge tubes (20, 28, & 410) each with 7 choke tubes and two flush 12 gauge choke tubes for use with the sub-gauge tubes; all cased in an Americase. Back to the ASE-90 itself. Made in 1993 and although never shot “hard”, this gun was sent to Cole Gunsmithing for a complete mechanical servicing including tightening and attention to locking mechanism and anything that could fail! Receipts accompany the ensemble. At the same time the barrels were refinished. The custom, beautifully grained, oil finished stock and forearm were specially crafted by Wenig Custom Stocks of Lincoln, MO. The stock dimensions: 15 1/8” LOP over a 1” Kick-eez pad; 1 7/16” DAC; 1 7/16” Drop at the Monte Carlo and 2 ¾” DAH. The stock is distinctly built for a right hand shooter with palm swell, semi roll over comb and significant 1” kick-out of the toe. However, as extreme as the stock may look in the photos it feels great and comes-up to the shoulder perfectly! This a great set for both sporting clays and for skeet all in one gun. It weighs 9 lbs. 2 oz.; with the tubes installed, exactly one pound more. The weight is distributed such that the gun moves, mounts and fits perfectly. The gun is 98%+ overall condition since refurbishing. Great gun..great set.
