Description:
Another quality firearm from BrowningAutoloader where quality never goes out of style. Originally advertised as “Remington Autoloading Shotgun”. This classic Remington was based on John Browns Browning Automatic-5 design. This vintage semi-automatic Remington Model 11 Sportsman Field grade is out of a private collection born in 1932 with a rich dark blue steel receiver (Bird Scene) and plain single bead barrel with rich varnished walnut furniture. This grade “Special Model” in 20 gauge (only manufactured 1931-1948) and is for the collector / shooter. The fit, finish and machining is excellent and echoes Remington of old. The condition is overall very fine to excellent condition that is all factory. This vintage Remington was well cared for a 85 year old classic. This field grade gun is in approx. 96% all-original factory finish both metal finish and wood (checkered varnished walnut stock and forearm) with mirror bores for hunting birds or for a weekend of sporting clays or trap.
