Based off of the Star Model A, the Star Super Model will fire either 9mm Largo or .38 Colt Auto cartridges and was produced from 1946 onward. The "Modelo Super" incorporated all of the design improvements that came about during the service life of the Model A. The Star Super was used by the Spanish Military for many years and proved itself to be a well-made, reliable, and accurate service pistol. This particular 1954 production piece is in very good condition overall and is 100% original. It retains 85% to 90% of the original blue finish and the bore is excellent. All of the controls on this Star are in perfect working order, and the slide to frame fitment is excellent. This pistol was imported by Interarms and is marked as such on the right side of the frame. If you have been looking for a nice honest Star military pistol that is in good overall condition with excellent mechanics, this pistol would be a great choice.
