#9297 F.lli Piotti - Italy, A Piotti 20 Bore Boss Monaco Back Action Sidelock Ejector O/U Made in 1996 with 28” Demibloc Vent Rib barrels bored to .621 (15.8mm) .008 & .014 (Imp.Cyl. & Mod.), 2 3/4" chambers, KG 1,260 weight barrels, Boss type action body with side lumping made out of a solid block of Boehler & CR2 steel, The locks completely made in house by the family lock maker Mr. Fabio Piotti, Double triggers with the front articulated, A rolled trigger guard edge for the right hand, A fully checkered game forend with a frontal release, Straight hand stock at 14 3/4 x 1 5/16 x 2 1/4" over a full face checkered butt, Cast-off for the right hand, Great game gun weight at 6 lbs. 4 oz., An Exhibition and highly figured piece of wood that appears to be Turkish Walnut with outstanding black/brown color and contrast, 99% coverage of classic floral and rose engraving with a Gargoyle on each side by G. Fausti (Giacomo Fausti) at Creative Art on a coin finished frame, Mr. Fausti was one of the original founders of the Creative Art studio in 1991. The gun remains in original condition with 99% blue, the butt and forend at 99% with a few slight marks, the wraparound checkering remains at 100% and the bores as new. At the Piotti firm it is steel and wood in the back door and a finished over/under 700 hours later out of the front door. This is one example of a sporting gun of refined quality with very few O/U's produced each year by this premier gunmaker. Here is a Classic game gun, with the proper size action body with the correct weight, for 20 Bore gunning by one of the leading gunmaking firms in the world.
