RUGER ~ OLD STYLE ~ SINGLE SIX , 3 SCREW, FLAT GATE, 22 cal. SER # 15786 manufactured 1955~ A truly iconic revolver, this unconverted Ruger Old Model Single-Six in .22 cal. is in great shape! Original butaprene grips are pristine! (Different grips were on the gun when we got it, with these original ones packed along with it, so I don't believe these grips were ever even used on the gun) Cylinder is clean, with no indication of dry firing and just a very slight turn line. Bore is bright and shiny with strong rifling its entire length. The black anodizing on the grip frame is almost perfect, with just a few small areas of greying and a small rub mark on the bottom of grip frame & bottom of the trigger guard. 95% + original finish ~ The bluing on the remainder of the gun is excellent, with a few small age spots, no rust or pitting.Gun times perfectly and locks up tightly. Screw heads appear to never have been turned. An overall excellent Nearly PRISTINE very early example of a truly classic sixgun! Please view all pictures as they are part of the description.
