Description:
32-40, serial number 70XX. Heavily customized by AO Zischang, 30” heavy octagon barrel. Bore is excellent, bright. Outside of barrel shows patchy rust spots, marked “AO Zischang Syracuse NY”. Top flat marked “fluid steel krupp Essen”. Barrel has adjustable front sight base and blocks for Unertl-type scope. Case color action with walnut side panels. Shows 15-20% scroll engraving. Single trigger (not set). Medium height staff rear sight. Well figured off-hand stock with Schutzen-style brass butt, retains 90% original nickel. Buffalo horn (?) pistol grip cap. Matching wood forend, both have multi-point checkering. Wood shows minor/normal handling wear. Typical Zischang style. 49 ½” overall, 13.5” LOP trigger to center of buttplate. Weighs approx 13 lbs.
