Description:

Whitney-Beals patent “Walking Beam” pocket revolver. 7 Shot .31 caliber with a barrel length of 5”. No barrel markings. Frame is marked Beals Patent 1864. Serial number 63. This revolver has no finish. The ring trigger functions by moving it forward and rearward to rotate the cylinder. The hammer is then cocked to fire. Grips are good, showing wear but no chips or breaks. This is a fairly scarce revolver with a complicated mechanism. What were they thinking?
