Description:
A nice model 55 with much finish remaining. DOM 1925. This item is exactly as I purchased it in 1998 from the son of the last user of the rifle. Renovo ,PA is where the gun came from. Purchased by a man who worked at the Pennsylvania Railroad locomotive overhaul facility in that town. The wooden case was made by him from the crating lumber that train parts were shipped in. The huge brick buildings still remain in Renovo but have been unused for there original purpose for many years.
A model 62 was bought at the same time as this 55 but was sold in 2000. It had the same style case.
