Payment Types Accepted: Visa,Master Card, Discover,Check Description: If you have been looking for a top quality Springfield M1A to take to the range or shoot long distance matches this is it.  It is fully set-up and ready to rock and roll.  This is a Springfield National Match Model M1A that was built in 2003 to be the most accurate M1A Springfield made short of the full-on Super Match target rifle.  It was bought as a like-new unfired gun by the previous owner and set up with proven components to be as accurate and reliable as possible.  Due to lack of time, it was shot only a handfull of times and now hits the market as a lightly used rifle in excellent overall condition.  From the factory the National Match Model M1A comes glass-bedded for supreme accuracy in a beautiful smooth American Walnut stock, with a medium-weight National Match-grade barrel fitted with an accurized flash hider and National Match target-style sights (hooded rear peep) with 1/2 MOA click adjustments.  The 2-stage trigger group is hand-tuned and fit to 4.5 to 5 pounds ensuring a light and crisp trigger pull.  Finally, a National Match-grade spring guide and match-tuned gas cylinder ensure reliable and repeatable accurate fire.  To this rifle the previous owner added a high-quality aluminum Sadlak Industries scope mount that was sent to a machine shop to be perfectly (square) fit to the rifle.  The Sadlak mount features a 5 & 3/8ths" inch Pic rail with a center groove that allows the use of the iron sights even with optics mounted up.  A Nikon Monarch 4-16x42 Scope with Nikon's BDC reticle and side focus adjustment was mounted up on Weaver rings.  The Nikon came with factory flip-up caps and a sunshade (not installed).  A Outdoor Industries black nylonquick-adjust sling was fit to the rifle, and 7 additional magazines were added to the kit, for a total of 8 magazines.  There are two 10-round Springfield mags, two 20-round Springfield mags, two 20-round Parkerized Checkmate mags, and two 20-round stainless steel Checkmate magazines (never taken out of packaging).  A large 51"x15" Plano "Protector" black plastic case was also added to transport the rifle and mags to the range/farm (not pictured but included).   The factory Parkerized finish on this Springfield M1A rates 98 to 99% with no handling marks or wear other than a touch of finish on the bolt where metal to metal contact occurs when the action cycles.  The bore is pristine and bright in this National Match, with nice sharp lands and grooves in the rifling and no visible imperfections.  The Walnut stock is in excellent condition overall, but does show some minor handling marks in it.  The stock is 100% solid with no cracks, chips, or repairs, and all of the stock hardware is in excellent shape and tight to the wood.  The controls on this rifle are like-new and 100% functional.  The action is smooth and tight with a rock-solid lock-up, and the trigger is exceptional, breaking like a glass rod at the second stage with no grit or slop.  The scope and mounts are in like-new condition both aesthetically and mechanically.  The optics are bright and clear in the Nikon with no scratches or defects on the lenses, and all of the scope adjustments are in perfect working order.  We have no doubt that this set-up will absolutely hold zero perfectly, and the magnification power and BDC reticle is perfect for medium to long range shooting.  With a suggested retail of $2500 for the rifle alone, this National Match M1A package at $2225 is a great deal and would be the perfect outfit for someone who has been looking for a top-end M1A range toy or competition gun.          SOLD Manufacturer: Springfield Armory Model: National Match M1A Serial Number: 163611 Caliber Info: 7.62 NATO / .308 Winchester Bore: Excellent Condition: Excellent Manufacture Date: 2003 Extras: 8 Total Mags, Sadlak Mount, Nikon Monarch 4-16x42 BDC Scope w/ box & sunshade, Nylon Sling, Owner's Manuals, Paperwork, Plano Protector Case
